Will Amit Shah provide security for this Congress MP?

Update: 2021-02-04 06:07 GMT
Congress party Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy, who has attained an image of firebrand politician and the fierce speaker has been raising his voice against the Telangana government and the government's decisions.

Following this, the MP is said to have written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to provide security to him. In the letter, he alleged that there is a threat to him.

It has been widely reported that in the letter, the firebrand leader has maintained that he has a threat from the Telangana government as he is fighting against the government.

However, this is not the first time the MP has sought security for him. Earlier, the MP has knocked on the doors of the Telangana High Court to seek directives from the Court to direct the government.

Back in 2018, the High Court has ruled out in favor of the MP. With the state government not providing security to him, the MP has once again moved the High Court in 2020.

Hearing a writ petition in March 2020 filed by the MP, the Telangana High Court has directed Revanth Reddy to file a new representation on the same issue with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

However, there is no information on the response of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the MP's letter seeking security.
