Will BJP, Jana Sena work together this time?

Update: 2021-08-15 10:27 GMT
Both the BJP and the Jana Sena have decided to launch joint agitations in Andhra Pradesh. This was decided at a meeting of both Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and BjP chiefSomu Veerraju. The meeting, held in a swank hotel in Vijayawada was also attended by Jana Sena biggie Nadendla Manohar, BjP top functionaries Sunil Deodhar and Daggubati Purandeswari.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that both the Jana Sena and the BJP have called for joint actions and common programmes. But, in all these cases, the pious declarations were never turned into action. Whether there would be common agitational programmes this time is anybody's guess.  Both the Jana Sena and the BJP workers have been acting in silos and they have not come together on common programmes.

There are allegations that there is little coordination between the top leaders. There are also rumours that both Pawan Kalyan and Somu Veerraju have ego issues. Both have not addressed any open programme so far. They have never addressed even a press conference together. So far, they have not organised even one joint protest together.

In this backdrop, the sudden meeting between both Pawan Kalyan and Somu Veerraju has assumed significance. Will they work together this time? Will they organise joint protest programmes? Will they fight the YSRCP together? Lets wait and see.
