Will Kavitha get a key role in KCR's National Party plans?

Will Telangana Chief Minister and TRS boss KCR's grand entry into national politics happen on Vijaya Dasami day? It is believed that KCR, who is a diehard believer in astrology, vastu and other such phenomena, will announce the formation of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Vijaya Dasami, the day which is supposed to give victory in every endeavor.

Highly placed sources in the TRS say that resolutions have been passed by all the 33 district committees of the TRS requesting KCR to enter national politics. They also reveal that the TRS Legislature Party too would soon pass a similar resolution and ask him to lead the country by entering national politics.

As part of these preparations, Janata Dal Secular's key leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy will visit Hyderabad on Sunday. He is likely to hold a meeting with chief minister KCR.  The Telangana CM had met both Kumaraswamy and his father HD Deve Gowda when he toured Karnataka.

Highly placed sources say that he might ask his daughter Kalwakuntla Kavitha, who was previously an MP and had effectively networked with the national leaders, to play a more active role at the national level. At the same time, former MP Vinod Kumar Boyinapalli and former Karimnagar mayor Ravinder Singh have reportedly been asked to focus on national politics. Singh is the only Sikh mayor from south India and has nation-wide connections. Significantly, he had even accompanied KCR during his recent visit to Bihar.
