Will Rahul Gandhi listen to West Bengal Congress leaders?

Finally, Rahul Gandhi is coming back to India after a foreign tour. In fact, he has left for Milan in Italy on the day when the Congress party was celebrating its 136th foundation day. Since then, the Congress workers across the country has been eagerly waiting for his return.

Soon after his return, the Congress leaders want him to urgently tour West Bengal. The state is going to polls soon. Both Trinamool Congress Party's Mamta Banerjee and the BJP have already launched an aggressive political campaign. Major BJP leaders like Amit Shah and JP Nadda are touring West Bengal extensively. Mamta Didi too is on a whirlwind tour of the state. On the other hand, the Congress is yet to get going. The party has not begun its preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.

The Congress leadership in west Bengal wants Rahul to launch the campaign in the state. The party also wants to give a push to the negotiations with the Left parties with which it wants to have an alliance. Will Rahul Gandhi oblige the Bengal unit? Let’s wait and see.
