Though the TDP has been claiming that it is winning this election, closer observation would show that there would be quite a few seats, where the ruling TDP would be reduced to third position. They say that in places where there is a strong triangular contest, the Jana Sena might pip past the TDP and the real fight would be confined to the the YSRCP and the Jana Sena.
For instance, in Avanigadda and Pedana in Krishna district, Vizag North and Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam district, Bheemavaram, Narsapur in West Godavari and Kalyandurg in Anantapur, the TDP might be pushed to the third position.
In Gajuwaka, Pawan Kalyan is the candidate and the TDP has wilfully helped him by putting up a weak candidate. So, the contest would be between the YSRCP and the Jana sena. Ditto with Bhimavaram too. Here too, the TDP played a second fiddle to Jana Sena. In Kalyandurg, the TDP has put up a weak candidate to ensure that PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy wins the seat. In other seats too, the TDP could be in the third position as the Jana Sena candidates are either stronger than the TDP candidates or the TDP wilfully helped Jana Sena by transferring its votes.
