A 55-Year-Old Woman allegedly kills self in the wee hours of Thursday after coming to an opinion that large amount of cash in her house is of no value after PM Narendra Modi's announcement scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
Vinoda who hails from Mahbubabad sold out 12 acres of land few months ago. She, however, kept the money at home instead of depositing it in a bank account.
Some say, Vinoda might have went into depression after the ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes and took the extreme step.
As per police, Vinoda faced harassment from her son and two daughters for the cash obtained through sale of land. Her children pressurized her for share in the money. We are investigating the family dispute angle as well.
