Troubles seem to be mounting for Telangana minister Malla Reddy these days. After he was shooed away from the Reddy community meeting recently, he had to suffer another insult, this time in the US. The minister, who is currently on a tour of the US to attend the American Telugu Association (ATA), had to face embarrassing moments when he was stopped from speaking.

A woman, identified as Bhavani Reddy stopped Malla Reddy's speech and said that most of what he was speaking was bluff and bluster. She said after becoming a minister for Labour affairs in 2019,  Malla Reddy did not conduct even a single review meeting of his own department. She also raised the issue of the government not paying the insurance premium of Rs 200 for each factory worker and said that over 10 lakh industrial workers were facing troubles because of this.

Bhavani Reddy also asked the Minister to stop his speech as he has done nothing for the people of Telangana. She said that the TRS leaders were making tall claims while the people of the state were subjected to untold sufferings. She asked the minister to mend his ways immediately.

Bhavani Reddy's outburst left both the minister and the audience, most comprising NRIs, stunned. The minister regained his composure after initial shock and continued with his speech. Sources say that Bhavani Reddy is a Congress leader from Siddipet region of Telangana. She is said to be currently on a tour of the US.
