Woman sits on Fast for arrest @ Volleyball Match

A british-iranian woman who was arrested in Iran for attending a Volleyball match has begun hunger strike in jail.

Ghoncheh Ghavami, a law graduate from London, launched this protest because the judge is yet to confirm her one year imprisonment. Her Lawyer confirms there is no legal basis to arrest her client.

The 25-Year-Old Woman was arrested on June 20th for attends men's volleyball match between Iran and Italy in Tehran's Azadi stadium. Though she was released after few hours, Cops have re-arrested her later when she went to the police station to recover her items. Women are banned from attending volleyball & football matches in Iran. Ghoncheh Ghavami was accused of spreading anti-regime propaganda.
