Karnataka High Court Stuns Rajinikanth

Karnataka Film Bodies had imposed a ban on Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kaala' after Distributors offered to boycott the biggie citing Thalaivar's comments on Cauvery Water issue. Superstar claimed to be having no clue why his movie is being targeted. Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy told he would take a decision on the ban after holding discussions with concerned people.

Meanwhile, A Petition was moved in Karnataka High Court seeking clearance for the release of 'Kaala' across the state. Much to the shock of Rajinikanth, HC refused to intervene in this matter.

Instead, High Court directed Lawyers seeking revoke of ban on 'Kaala' to submit the list of theaters screening the movie to the Karnataka Government. Justice maintained State Government is bound to provide security for the threat prone theaters.

'Kaala' is releasing Worldwide on June 6th. Rajini is essaying the role of Kaala Kalikalan who fights for the underprivileged people.
