The Telangana High Court expressed its severe dissatisfaction against the state government over the Corona situations and the vaccination works in the state. The court also slammed the government for not implementing the orders issued by the court earlier.
The court had lambasted the government over the delay in the colour-coded graded response action plan and asked how many more people should die to add Corona treatment under the emergency list.
The High Court pulled the Telangana public medical and health director Dr. G Srinivas Rao and asked what's the reason for not submitting the response action plan despite directing the government to do so twice.
As a reason for the delay, the health director told the High Court that a procedural decision has to be taken at a higher level for the action plan. To this, the Court asked, won't the government implement the court orders?
Warning that they might face serious consequences for not implementing the court orders, the High court had directed that the Colour-coded Graded Response Action(CCGRA) should be prepared by the 30th of this month. On the other hand, the court also directed the union government to add Corona under the essential health services.
