Cancer risk: Night Shifts & Poor Sleep Habits!

A recent study by a University based in Beijing of China found out that Men doing night shifts, sleeping 10 hours in the night and not going to bed for even half-an-hour during day time are prone to Cancer related ailments.

As many as 27,000 people have took part in the survey. Some of them were doing Night Shifts for the past 20 years. Such People have 27% increased risk of Cancer.

The study found out that Men who sleep for over 10 hours in the night had an increased risk of Cancer. Men who don't take a nap for at least 30 minutes in the day face double the risk of cancer of those who sleep during daytime. Males who comes under at least 2 of these categories had a 43 increased risk of cancer incidence.

Whereas, The study proved Night Shifts and Poor Sleep Habits hardly have any impact on cancer risk among women.
