Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao paid a visit to Yadagirigutta in Nalgona district and offered prayers to Lord Narasimha Swamy. He received a grand welcome from officials after landing in Nalgonda and priests at the temple blessed him veda mantras.
Post offering prayers, KCR asserted that Yadagirigutta will be developed on par with Tirumala within 2 years. He shared about plans to come up with cottages, vedic schools and gardens at the holy shrine. He also indicated Brahmotsavams will be held in a grand fashion and assured practice of offering pattu-vastras to the almighty from T-CM on behalf of government will continue. He stated a gold plate to temple dome is on the agenda of T-Government.
Before visiting the temple, KCR conducted an aerial survey on ponds in the Nalgonda district. He also wrote a letter to Union Finance Minister appealing him ensure a place for Telangana's cultural tableau in Republic Day parade.
