Yanamala Introduces e-budget for the first time

The 2016-17 budget for Andhra Pradesh was introduced in state assembly while ago by finance minister Yanamala. The total outlay for the financial year 2016-17 is 1.53 lakh crores. Of the total budget outlay, Rs49,134 is in planned expenditure segment while Rs.86,584 is non-planned expenditure

Unlike earlier the budget is given in electronic format this time and all the members of the house were given tabs through which they can access the budget.  Yanamala announced Rs1,000 crore budget allocation for Kapu Corporation.

For farmer's loan waiver, Rs3,512 crore was allotted. For irrigation Rs7,300 crore, school education Rs17,502 crore, agriculture Rs5,838 crore, higher education Rs2,548 crore, health Rs2,233 crore .For construction of drainage system at Vijayawada and Guntur Rs1,000 crore have been allocated.

The irrigation sector received Rs1,100 crores. For Yanamala this is third budget in a row and eighth as a finance minister. Like the last year, the government is also putting up a separate budget for agriculture.
