AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu claimed TDP Government tried its best to achieve Special Status and that's the reason at least Special Package was accorded. 'We are ready to accept whatever Centre might sanction. We don't need the suggestions of Opposition whose sole intention is to prevent development from happening in the state,' he said.
Yanamala expressed the feeling nothing can't be done other than accepting the Package offered by Union Government in the present situation. He, however, reiterates TDP Government will continue to persuade Centre for much better assistance in future.
The Finance Minister made it clear AP won't be able to overcome the financial crisis any time soon. 'Its very unfortunate that few parties have been criticizing State Government for accepting the Package. Why should we reject when Centre offered to help as much as it can?,' he questioned.
