YCP Is wrestling with the centre, Seriously?

Update: 2022-07-27 11:52 GMT
The heavy rains brought big floods to Andhra Pradesh and many regions in the state saw a disaster with the heavy downpours. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started a tour to meet the people in the flood-hit areas in the Alluri Sitaramaraju district.

More than his visit, Jagan's comments during the visit made many heads turn. Assuring the victims that the money will be given to them at the earliest, the Chief Minister said that his government is wrestling with the centre to get the packers for the rehabilitation.

Though the Chief Minister said that his government is wrestling with the union government, everyone knows that there is nothing like that in reality. Its been more than three years since YCP came to power. During this period, there is no instance where YCP waged a direct war with the BJP.

YS Jagan always accused the TDP of not being harsh with the BJP as far as the interests of the state are concerned. He aggressively took the slogan Kendram medalu vanchutam (We will bend the neck of the Union government) to the people and voters felt that Jagan might do that.

But that did not happen after YCP came to power. Forget about questioning the Union government, the YCP became hands up before the union government. No matter what, the YSRCP is giving its support and helping the party like a friendly party.

The recent Presidential polls tell volumes about that. Even though the BJP did not ask, the ruling YSRCP showed interest in supporting Murmu and openly supported her. On the flip side, the YCP is saying it is wrestling with the union government.
