Vijay Sai Reddy, Member of Parliament from Andhra Pradesh and important leader of YSRCP, reacted to Nara Chandra Babu Bailey's comments on Grama Volunteers scheme launched by YCP government giving many jobless youth, work as volunteers in Villages and rural areas.
NCBN aggressively dismissed the Grama Volunteer scheme and asked the government of AP in a mocking style, "Is this a kind of job that you give to kids? Do you ask them to roam around the village with a three wheeler? By providing such a job, do you think you have given them a livelihood that they can be proud off? Is Rs. 5000/- even a good salary for these people?"
Concluding his speech he said, "And looking at such jobs, these people expect us to appreciate them and sing praises for them. I am ashamed of these people and their politics!"
Vijay Sai Reddy countered his comments by attacking his son, Nara Lokesh and asked him how can he support admission of Lokesh into government without much experience but comment on children who found a living by helping others.
Vidala Rajini, Chilakalaluripet MLA, shared the photos of Dharamasagaram Grama Volunteer, Boyalamma helping an old man to climb into 108 ambulance and said that she is highly unhappy with NCBN's comments as the scheme and the people who got jobs under the scheme are working for the betterment of villages while helping people.
So, what will be the counter argument for these facts after such arrogant comments from TDP chief, we have to wait and see.
