YCP Leaders using Old Idea to Reduce the Gap with People!

Update: 2022-03-07 06:42 GMT
The YCP led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tasted a landslide victory in the 2019 general elections in Andhra Pradesh. His charisma and massive election campaign on social media helped the party for the victory. Other issues like the Special category and funds for AP also worked well for Jagan in the polls.

All these issues will work only for the elections and once the party comes to power, people will only look for the work the leaders have done. It looks like the leaders in Andhra Pradesh are getting to know about this. The leaders are facing the ire from the voters with this.

Realizing this, the leaders are now gearing up to bring down the ire of the people. For this, the leaders are opting for the old concept of meeting the people in the respective constituencies. Though the names for the meetings are different they serve the same purpose.

MLA Kethireddy was the first MLA from the YCP to start such a program. Under the 'Good Morning Dharmavaram' program, he has been meeting the people in his constituency to know their problems. After people tell him the problems they have been facing, the MLA directs the concerned authorities to look into the matter to address the issues.

The program has worked well for the MLA as the people in his constituency are happy that their problems are getting addressed without any hassle. On the flip side, it is also making the people stay connected to the legislator.

A few more leaders are taking a leaf out of Kethireddy and starting similar programs. Firebrand politician Roja who is facing flak from the people for not taking up the fight on reorganization row is meeting people regularly.

Besides using the meeting as the platform to be close to the people and to know their problems, Roja is also fighting the anti-news that are being spread against her. During the meeting, Roja is reportedly arguing people to not believe any half-baked news.

Few other leaders are also expected to join the list of leaders to meet the people to understand their problems and also boost their image. Will these efforts of the leaders pay off? We have to wait and see.
