The volunteer system is the flagship system that was brought by the YCP government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to act as a bridge between the welfare schemes introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government and the beneficiaries. They play a big role in taking the welfare schemes to the people. During the Covid times, the volunteers came in handy.
As a bid to honor the volunteers for the service they have been doing, the Andhra Pradesh government has started the felicitation ceremonies across the state. The MLAs and other key leaders felicitated the volunteers in their respective regions.
One such event had hit the headlines after Yalamanchili YSRCP MLA UV Ramana Murthy Raju aka Kannababu had made sensational comments against the volunteers and warned them to be careful or else they have to lose their jobs.
As per the media reports, Kanna Babu is believed to have warned the volunteers to be careful while doing their work, or else they might end up losing their jobs. Stressing the point that their jobs are yet to be made permanent and if they do any extras, then they will be sent back to their homes.
Saying that a few issues at the offices have come to his notice, the MLA made it clear that he cannot tolerate any negligence and he will not spare even his own children if they do any wrong things. Change your behavior or else face the music, the MLA warned.
