The pro-TDP media is in a tizzy ever since AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that AP would have three capitals. Since this would badly hit the real estate interests of one area and and one group that is close to the erstwhile dispensation, the media has gone on an overdrive to find fault with the decision to move the executive capital to Vizag. Their strategy is to incite the people of Rayalaseema against Vizag. They are working over time to convince the Rayalaseema people that what Kurnool is getting is of no significance.
Secondly, they are now trying to say that even Amaravati is far off from Kurnool. One media organisation that is part of the "Yello Cabal" has said that since there are no straight railway line, one has to travel for 10 hours to go to even Vijayawada. Even the road distance is around 330 km, which takes around eight hours due to bad roads. Given this situation, going to Vizag would mean that one has to travel up to 900 km. This would mean that precious man hours would be lost in the travel, the newspaper argued.

The question that is now being asked is why did Chandrababu Naidu not do anything for Kurnool all these years. Why is reaching Vijayawada from Kurnool taking such a long time and who is responsible for this? So, this argument is proving counter productive for the TDP itself.
