Within 15 minutes after he applied for a marketing job with a multi-national jewellery exports company in Mumbai, Zeshan Ali Khan received an email that starts with the line - "We regret to inform you that we hire only non-Muslim candidates."

Much to Zeshan Ali Khan's shock, Two of his classmates Mukund Mani and Omkar Bansode who applied for the same job were called for interviews the very next day.
Zeshan Ali Khan took the screen shot of the email and posted it on social media. People from different walks of life advised him to lodge a complaint against the firm for alleged religious discrimination.

National Commission for Minorities took the issue very seriously and pressing for legal action against the company.

Soon after the issue began gaining attention, The Multi-National Firm sacked the HR Trainee who denied job Zeshan Ali Khan. The company also made it clear it's an error but not its policy.
