YS Jaganmohan Reddy's indefinite fast for the sake of Special Category Status has been foiled by the police in the early hours of Tuesday.

The team led by Additional Superintendent of Police J Bhaskara Rao reached the deeksha camp at 4 am. Jagan was sleeping in the make shift tent when the cops made arrangements for shifting amidst slogans of YSRC Activists. After forcibly foiling the deeksha, Guntur Police shifted YCP Chief to the trauma care centre at the Government General Hospital.

Jagan appeared very weak on Monday (6th Day of Fast). Doctors warned raise in ketone levels could prove dangerous and hence Government shifted the YCP President to hospital as a precautionary measure. The task has been completed in the early hours as the presence of crowd is very less at that point of time.
