YS Raja Reddy Killer Freed From Prison

YS Raja Reddy was murdered near a culvert in Vemula town in Pulivendula Constituency on May 23rd, 1998. YSR's Father was attacked brutally while he was on his way to Pulivendula from YSR Estates in Idupulapaya. CID named altogether 16 people as accused in the murder case. High Court awarded life sentence to 11 of them and the Supreme Court upheld this verdict.

11 Convicts in YS Raja Reddy Murder Case: Perla Ramanjaneya Reddy, Perla Somasekhara Reddy, Perla Ramakrishna Reddy, Perla Sesha Reddy, Annareddy Sambasiva Reddy, Annareddy Srinivasulu Reddy, Annareddy Dasaratha Reddigari Lakshmi Reddy, Poreddy Viswanatha Reddy, R Sudhakara Reddy, Palle Venkatarami Reddy and Vadderapu Obaiah.

TDP Government freed 47 prisoners from jails across the state. This include 18 from Rajahmundry Central Prison, 13 from Visakha Jail, 7 from Kadapa Prison, 6 from Anantapur Jail and 3 from Nellore Prison. Decision taken over the mercy of prisoners on the eve of Republic Day this year was implemented on Sunday.
