YS Raja Reddy Murderers released from Jail

AP Government released 10 out of 12 convicts of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy's father YS Raja Reddy murder case on 67th Republic Day for good conduct. This move could create a political storm as YSR Congress will firmly oppose it.

YS Raja Reddy was brutally killed by opponents in Vemula of Kadapa district on May 23rd, 1998. High Court pronounced life term for 12 convicts in the case on October 16th, 2006. As Umamaheswara Reddy died during the trail itself, Remaining 11 Convicts have faced the punishment.

Andhra Pradesh Govt. released as many as 163 inmates with good conduct from prisons. About 10 out of them were YS Raja Reddy murder case convicts. Due to his involvement in other criminal cases, The other convict wasn't released from the prison.

Prime Accused Chinna Seshareddy, his brother Somasekhar Reddy and brother-in-law Vishwanatha Reddy received a grand welcome outside the prison. Followers & Family Members of the trio arrived in 60 vehicles to make it a memorable day in their lives.
