Update: 2020-01-10 11:11 GMT
The capital row in Andhra Pradesh is going through many twists and turns as many leaders are expressing their take on the government's rule to have three capitals. One such unexpected decision comes from AP Housing Minister Cherukuwada Sri Ranganatha Raju.

He said that the state should have four capitals and Rajamahendravaram should be the Cultural Capital so that the Godavari district's culture will be exposed.

I will speak to CM Jagan on this issue and also will rake the issue in Assembly," Mr. Raju said.

His comments have created a sensation in the political circles as well as the public of the Amaravati region. As the state is already witnessing protests observed by the farmers of Amaravati for 24 days, now the Minister's comments have gained some importance.
