YSRCP Rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju's issue is going through several twists and turns with each passing day. Even after the country's top court, the Supreme Court granting bail, there is no clarity on when the MP will be released.
Media reports claimed that the Guntur District Magistrate Court sought details on the MP's health condition from Secunderabad's Army Hospital, where he is currently placed. The doctors at the hospital said, the treatment is under process and the MP needs four more days of treatment.
It is said that the Rebel MP is expected to be released after the doctors at the hospital submit their report on the MP's health. Earlier on May 21st, the SC granted bail to the MP. However, a case against him is pending at a trial court.
As per the medic reports, the advocates representing the MP moved the Guntur district court to seek directives to release the MP from the military hospital as the legislator is a remand prisoner.
However, the MP's release got postponed for four more days reportedly, as the doctors at the Army Hospital told the concerned magistrate that the MP needed treatment for another four days.
Some media reports claimed that the MP said that he will not leave the Army Hospital till he recovers. This development had also raised several questions on the much-talked-about issue.
The MP was arrested by the AP CID sleuths earlier this month, on the grounds of reportedly making comments that tarnish the image of the state government. He was arrested from his residence at Hyderabad and later shifted to the Guntur CID office.
