YSRCP supporters join TDP in the presence of Nandamuri Balakrishna

A week after announcing that he would come on to the roads for the sake of the public, Actor-turned-politician, Hindupr Telugu Desam Party,(TDP) MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna started his tour.

Balakrishna, popularly called Balayya Babu by his fans has started a tour in his Assembly constituency Hindupur today. TDP party activists and cadre were thrilled to see the leader.

According to the TDP leaders, Balakrishna is scheduled to tour the constituency for four to five days. Monday is the first day of Balakrishna's tour in Hindupur. More details of his tour are awaited.

On the first day of his tour, Nandamuri Balakrishna met the TDP leaders in Hindupur. He met the children of the Hindupur TDP leaders as well.

His visit came at the time when the Panchayat elections are underway and the much-awaited Municipal polls will be held in March this year. The election schedule was released today.

Balakrishna's visit gave a morale boost to the TDP cadre in Hindupur with not less than 100 families that are supporting the ruling YSRCP have shifted their loyalties to the TDP in the presence of Balakrishna.

Hindupur Assembly constituency has a special solace in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, his father, TDP founder, former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao represented the constituency.
