American communications technology company Zoom Video Communications, Inc which went through huge profits with the ongoing pandemic followed by series of lockout decided to make a big move.
The Company announced that it is hatching plans to start a new technology center in Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. The company said it took this decision to improve its base in India.
Talking about the same, Velchamy Sankarlingam, President of Product and Engineering for Zoom said they will be hiring DevOps engineers, IT, Security, and Business Operations very soon in Bengaluru. However, he didn't confirm the date when the hiring will take place.
Velchamy Sankarlingam went on to say that with the world-class team enjoyed by the company will lend a helping hand for them to grow in the Indian market. In a span of four months, the company saw a massive growth of 6700 percent growth in free user sign-ups.
The company already has an office in India's financial capital Mumbai and the new technology center which will be set up in Bengaluru will be the second office of the company which headquarters is located in Silicon Valley.
