It is already known that the artificial intelligence is leading the race across the globe and things are looking very promising for this advanced technology, which is already taking over human jobs.

An individual reportedly attacked the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in San Francisco early on Friday morning, according to local law enforcement.

Police say the suspect threw an incendiary device at the residence, creating a small fire near the entrance before officers quickly arrived on the scene. No one was seriously injured in the incident.

Authorities say the man left the area on foot after launching the device and was soon located and arrested nearby. During the encounter with police, he allegedly made statements that he planned to target OpenAI’s headquarters next. Officers took him into custody without further incident.

Law enforcement sources describe the suspect as a young adult, though they have not released his name or confirmed his motive.

Investigators are continuing to question him and review evidence to determine whether the act was motivated by personal grievances, ideological beliefs, or other factors. At this time, there is no indication that the suspect had direct ties to any organized group.

OpenAI released a statement confirming that neither Altman nor his family were harmed, and that the company is working closely with law enforcement as the investigation proceeds. Officials emphasized that while the device caused a brief blaze, it did not result in a major explosion or significant property damage.

Police also noted that they are increasing patrols in certain areas as a precaution, and urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
