There is a reason for Cricket having the image of a ‘gentleman’s game’. Players are expected to maintain some dignity and not cross the line. Though the younger generation enjoys sledging among players, old-school people will not be supportive of this. All these aspects speak volumes about how a player should be.

But an MP-cum All rounder raised many eyeballs with his comments on veteran player Virender Sehwag. The former Indian player needs no introduction for the destructive batsman image he has. Of late he is sharing thoughts on the matches and players.

As part of that Sehwag gave advice to Bangladesh great Shakib Al Hasan to leave the team. Sehwag said that Shakib is not scoring any good runs and as a player, he should retire. Saying that Shakib is not like Adam Gilchrist or Mathew Hayden, Sehwag advised him to play as per his strengths.

Despite not getting the ideal start to the tournament, Shakib played a crucial innings against the Netherlands the other day. He scored 64 in just 46 deliveries. In the post-match presentation, he made crucial comments.

While addressing the media, the star all-rounder was asked about the comments made by Sehwag. To this Shakib Al Hasan asked who Sehwag is. However, cricket lovers are not happy with this and say that it was his arrogance that made him say that.

Recalling what happened in his career earlier, the fans say Shakib Al Hasan is someone who cannot take criticism and makes such comments. The issue is now a sensation in the cricket world.
