Not Road Show Or Procession, They're Ruining My 20 Yrs Hard work: Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun addressed the Telugu media last night as he spoke at length about the series of events that unfolded after the stampede at Sandhya theatre.

On this matter, Allu Arjun stated “It is an unfortunate incident and frankly speaking, it is nobody's fault. I am actually very grateful to the government because they have given a lot of support to the film industry. There is misinformation. Please don't judge me, please don't assassinate my character. I am not that kind of a person.

About the character assassination plot that is being devised against him, Allu Arjun said “I have earned this respect after 21-22 years of hard work and they’re trying to ruin it all. All I want to say is that I have put three years of my life into this film and it means everything to me, and I went to watch it in the theatre and I have been to this theatre 20-30 times.

Bunny added that there is also misinformation that I have been very irresponsible by going to the theatre without any permission, which is not true at all. “The theatre had taken permission and I went there, and right in front of my eyes, there were policemen who were clearing the way. I was going as per their instructions, and actually if there was no permission and if they had asked me to return, I am a law-abiding citizen, I would have followed it.

About the political commentary that Allu Arjun carried out a roadshow outside the theatre, he clarified that it was not a road show or procession. There was a crowd outside the theatre and he just waved because it is basic respect when hundreds of people come to see him.
