Ambanis Wedding: Airport Gets International Tag For Brief Period!

Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani will tie the knot with Radhika Merchant in July. The couple got engaged recently and a pre-wedding bash is underway. Various events were planned in the three-day celebrations. More than 1000 guests were invited including international celebrities.

Jamnagar is selected for the celebrations and the guests are landing here. From Indian celebrities to international names, everyone is reaching Jamnagar. Jamnagar airport is seeing a big flow of traffic. More and more flights are landing here for the pre-wedding.

Now it is said that the Jamnagar airport was given the international stage. Given the increase in traffic, the airport was given the tag. However, the tag is given for a small period. Reports say that the tag was given for just 10 days.

The media reports say that the international tag was given for 10 days as Jamnagar became the destination for the pre-wedding celebrations of the richest family in the country.

The international tag was given on the 25th of February and would last till the 5th of this month. More than 2000 guests will attend the celebrations. Understanding this, the tag was granted.

The airport getting an international tag is not a small thing as it is located in a sensitive area. It is also said that Jamnagar Airport is a defense airport which is also used for domestic uses. Despite this, it was granted an international tag.

On top of this, it is said that an Immigration counter was also set up to meet the big demand. Around 150 aircraft is expected to land at the airport for the celebrations excluding the normal ones.
