Another Shock For Kavitha On The Same Day?
After questioning her, the ED officials took her to the national capital Delhi, and produced her before the court.
Former MP Kavitha has been facing back-to-back shocks in the Delhi Liquor scam. Earlier last month she was taken into custody by the ED. After questioning her, the ED officials took her to the national capital Delhi, and produced her before the court. Everyone knows the sensation around her custody.
It appears that Kavitha will not get relief in the case anytime soon. She faced a new shock as the court said not to the petition. She moved the court challenging her arrest. Kavitha knocked on the doors of the court saying that she was arrested without any notice.
It is known that Kavitha faced a big shock with the CBI arresting her. Despite the arrest, she was not taken into remand and she continues to stay in Tihar Jail. However, it is said that CBI officers might question her.
She reportedly moved the Court. In the petition, Kavitha’s lawyer sought an urgent hearing as no notice was served to her. But she did not get relief as the Judge said he did not hear the Delhi liquor case and he has no information about the case.
Having said that, the duty judge said he cannot grant the relief and told the lawyer to file a bail petition with the regular court tomorrow. This is another shock for Kavitah who already faced double arrest in the case.
Earlier Kavitha did not get the interim bail. The court said no to the bail. Kaviths moved the court seeking interim bail on the grounds of her son’s exams. However, the ED countered the claims and said that she might influence the witnesses in the case and also said that she threatened an approver. With this, the court did not give her bail.
