The Andhra Pradesh Budget for 2026 to 27 reflects a strong focus on welfare, education, agriculture and infrastructure, with significant allocations across key sectors.
Under major welfare schemes, Talliki Vandanam has been allocated Rs. 9,668 crore, while Women and Child Welfare receives Rs. 4,581 crore. Scholarships have been allotted Rs. 3,836 crore and Samagra Shiksha gets Rs. 2,946 crore.
Amaravati development has been earmarked Rs. 6,000 crore. Higher Education receives Rs. 2,566 crore and the Dokka Seethamma Midday Meal Scheme has been allocated Rs. 2,161 crore.
Skill Development is assigned Rs. 1,232 crore and Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyath gets Rs. 1,500 crore. PM Schools for Rising India receives Rs. 707 crore, while Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Vidyarthi Mitra is allotted Rs. 654 crore. Youth and Sports has been given Rs. 438 crore.
In the agriculture and irrigation sectors, Rs. 9,906 crore has been allocated for irrigation projects. Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana receives Rs. 1,927 crore and Annadata Sukhibhava gets Rs. 6,600 crore. Fishermen welfare is allocated Rs. 260 crore. Polavaram Project has been allotted Rs. 6,105 crore and the Price Stabilisation Fund gets Rs. 500 crore.
School Education receives Rs. 32,308 crore, Health and Medical Department Rs. 19,306 crore, BC Corporations Rs. 23,650 crore, Water Resources Department Rs. 18,223 crore, Panchayati Raj Rs. 22,941 crore and Municipal Administration Rs. 14,538 crore.
