It is already known that the government of Andhra Pradesh has been taking proactive steps with regard to the enhancement of the sporting infrastructure in the state. Now they have taken a crucial step in this regard by announcing a huge pay package to a female cricketer who won the World Cup recently.

Coming to the topic, now, the government of Andhra Pradesh has extended a financial support of ₹2.5 crore to Shree Charani Reddy, who happens to be a part of the Indian team. She is originally from Kadapa and became a crucial member of the Indian cricket team and won the World Cup this week.

In tune with us, the government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to fairly reward the talented young cricketer and has announced a series of special all allowances to her.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu has announced a cash award of ₹2.5 crore, a 1,000 sq. yard house site, and a Group-I government job for Ms. Shree Charani in recognition of her exemplary performance in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, 2025, the statement from Andhra Pradesh chief minister Office said.

This is one of the bigger, financial compensation and priority significant allowance that has been given to the female cricketer and could come a long way in supporting the sporting activities in the state.
