The opposition Telugu Desam Party has been targeting the ruling YSRCP that the votes are being removed and fake votes are being enrolled to get a benefit. To give an example of this, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu moved the Election Commission in this regard and alleged that they have identified more than 20 lakh fake votes in the state.
However, the ruling YCP rubbished the allegations and said that the opposition party is doing all this to get gains. Having said that, a few ruling party members clarified there is no such thing as what is being alleged by the opposition.
Amid this, Minister for Animal Husbandry Seediri Appalaraju made some crucial comments. He took part in the YCP mandal-level meeting and made directives to the party activists keeping the next elections in mind.
The Minister said that party workers should be very cautious and keep on checking the voters' list. Talking about the Uddanam region, the Minister said that a few people here have votes in Andaman as well.
If they are our votes, then it is ok. If they are opposition parties votes and they vote for them, then raise an objection, by using section 7. He went on to say that if the votes only come here when asked by the opposition, then objections should be raised.
The Minister's comments raised many eyeballs and grabbed everyone's attention. Many ask how a Cabinet Minister can make such comments.
