What Now! Apple Coming With Foldable IPhone Soon?

One of the biggest tech manufacturers in the world, Apple has captured the premium smartphones market like no other company. But there have been several complaints about lack of innovation from Apple in the recent times.
In accordance with this, Apple is coming up with something pretty extraordinary as the company is set to launch its first line of foldable phones like its contemporaries like Samsung.
According to the latest reports, the foldable iPhone is expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, but pre-orders and sales may happen later due to limited initial supply.
Apple is reportedly expecting around 7 to 8 millionfoldable iPhone assembly shipments in 2026, with only 500K to 1M units assembled in Q3, compared to roughly 20~22M iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max units.
This would essentially mean that the conventional iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max units will be shipped on priority and will be in access for the majority of the population. The new line of foldable iPhones will not be available for the common public at large capacity due to the small range of production.
This would be similar to the iPhone X, which was announced in September 2017 but didn’t go on sale until November due to production constraints. Nevertheless, it is interesting to note that Apple is coming up with one of the most revolutionary ideas in the form of folding iPhones, and we have to see if this would change the smartphone industry game forever.
