Now India is dealing with a tough time as it did not get the ideal start it wanted. India lost three early wickets in the form of Skipper Rohit Sharma, Run Machine Virat Kohli and Shreay Iyer. With just 48 on the board, the three players were sent back.
Before the match, many ex-players said that Shaheen Afridi is a player to look out for given his breathtaking bowling. This appeared true as he sent back Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Afridi sends Rohit Sharma back with a brilliant delivery for just 11 runs. With a stunning in-swinger, he took Rohit's wicket.
Virat Kohli, the hero in the last India-Pak match was sent back for just 4. Afridi gave a second jolt to India by sending back Virat. Shreyas Iyer who got a call into the team after an injury recovery played a brief innings.
Iyer looked in good touch with two boundaries in Haris Rauf’s over. Adding more troubles for India, he was sent back by Rauf. Pocket dynamo Ishan Kishan walked in. Now India is 51 for the loss of three wickets. The intense match was evenly poised as rain stopped the match yet again. Covers were called by the umpires.
