Australia Makes Visa Tougher For India: How And Why?

It is already known that Australia has been taking strong measures against the national immigration as the country has been strongly opposing the buildup of immigration communities here. Now they have done something significant with regard to the student visa policy.

According to the latest developments, the government of Australia has ensured a new mechanism where the visa application fee has been enhanced from the existing AU$2000 to 2500.

Significant increase in the visa prices is an indication that Australia is likely to follow strong immigration measures starting very soon. This could be a further indication of the fact that Indian population could also be affected by the same as the elevated prices will come at an additional financial burden.

It is to be noted that Australia had already started reducing the volume of the student intake within their universities, and now this increase in the visa prices is another strong measure to this effect.

Australia had been on the primary destinations for Indian student population behind the United States, and now this is likely to change considering the growing prices and reduced occupancies.

It shall also be noted that there are local protests amongst the Australian indigenous population as they have been protesting against International immigration and particularly from the Indian community.

The chances are that the Australian authorities might enforce more such regulations in the days to follow as they are cracking down on international immigration.
