TDP is going strong in Andhra Pradesh as far as the alliance is concerned. The three parties decided to walk together and the seat sharing was also sorted out. TDP is the big getter as it was allocated the highest seats with 144 Assembly seats. The grand old party already announced two candidates list.
When everything was going smoothly, the party faced a big jolt as it was reported that a senior leader might join the YCP along with other leaders. Talks are underway reportedly and we might hear a big news soon.
A few seniors had to face a jolt due to seat sharing. Seniors pinned high hopes on the seats as they have worked for the party and in their respective constituencies for a very long time. But they were kept aside. TDP leadership reportedly preferring the young leaders can also be seen as a reason.
Senior TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy pinned high hopes on the Pendurthi seat in Vizag. But the seat is said to have been allocated to Janasena. Having faced a big jolt with this Bandaru is said to be looking at other options.
Media reports say that he is in touch with a few YCP leaders and talks are underway. Once he joins the YCP, Bandaru might get the Anakapalli MP seat due to various dynamics. On top of this, his followers are also sending a message that they are not ready to work for others in the seat.
Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy reportedly in plans to leave the party is a big jolt to the party as he has a legacy of a few decades and served as the Cabinet Minister in the past. If this happens then it would be a hammer blow.
Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy is not looking at leaving the party alone. Media reports say that he is also gathering disappointed leaders in other constituencies. It is being reported that he might take the disappointed leaders from other seats as well. They were reportedly assured posts after joining the YCP.
