BJP Thinking Of Going For Early Parliament Elections?
BJP might go to early elections and the chances of this cannot be ruled out
As we are done with the general elections in the five poll-bound states the focus is now on the big fight which is the Lok Sabha elections. All eyes are on the big fight to see who would emerge victorious. Who wins the elections would get a chance to change the political landscape in the country.
As per the schedule the Indian general election, 2024 is slated to be commenced between April and May. However, the media reports say that the Bharatiya Janata Party is reportedly preferring to go to early elections and the leadership is thinking about it.
BJP might go to early elections and the chances of this cannot be ruled out. The main reason behind this is that the BJP is looking very strong as it won three northern states in the recent elections. The election results hint that the BJP wave is still intact and it can overcome Congress.
The northern states have been the strong zone of the BJP and it has no strength in the south. It has a presence in states like Karnataka and Telangana, but it is not that strong when we compare it to the northern states and the Hindi hotland.
The number of seats it will win will be high and it barely wins any seats in the south barring a few. As the party wants to win the third consecutive term and script history, the BJP thinks that this is the best time to go for the elections to bank on the positive wave.
Another possible reason which might have made BJP go for the decision is that by going to early polls BJP can cut short the preparation time for the opposition Congress. Congress which wants to defeat the BJP at any cost is leading the INDIA bloc. Many parties from different states are part of it. If all the parties work harder they can pose a big threat to BJP.
