Twitter which became X often faces criticism over allegedly sharing misinformation and not taking required measures. Now the platform gave a big shock to the platform by imposing a ban on it.
This happened in Brazil as the Supreme Court reportedly imposed a ban and directed the Telecommunications agency to take the required measures to impose the ban. The ongoing tussle saw a big development with this.
As per the reports X and the Brazilian government have been a face-off over the alleged misinformation that is being spread. Later the issue went to the notice of the Supreme Court and the Top court imposed a ban.
It has been reported that the Brazilian government urged the X management to work on the alleged misinformation that is being spread and take the required measures. However, there was no response from the management and the issue reached the Court.
In what could be a big development the Supreme Court banned the platform and gave time for the Telecommunications Agency to implement the directives. This can be seen as a big shock to the platform and its management.
