World Cup Blockbuster: Brazil Gets Shocked!

It is already known that the FIFA World Cup has started in the most spectacular manner this year and it is being jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. Now we already have the first major result of the World Cup with the game between Brazil and Morocco.

Brazil who started the tournament as one of the main favourites to win the World Cup this year faced a bad result in the first game itself against Morocco, and this has become major news again.

Anyone who felt that Brazil were being underrated or overlooked ahead of this World Cup can probably put that opinion away now.

This is a side rich in talent, especially in attack, but Carlo Ancelotti has an enormous amount of work to do if the Selecao are to reach the latter stages of this tournament, let alone win it.

Their first-half performance here was genuinely appalling. They did improve in the second half. There was more intensity, more control. You could not, however, argue that they deserved more than a point from the game.

This will go on as one of the interesting results in the World Cup this year as Brazil is expected to win every single game in the group stage, but that did not happen the very first game itself.

Now the focus moves onto other big teams like Spain, Argentina, Portugal, and France, which are the other favourites to win the title this year and we have to see how they would perform.
