Is BRS Party Getting Empty In Maharashtra?
But everything had gone for a toss with the BRS losing the elections and becoming weaker and weaker.
TRS became BRS with a lot of aspirations and hopes for national politics. Party chief KCR wanted to form a third front at the Centre. He even welcomed leaders in other states for this. But everything had gone for a toss with the BRS losing the elections and becoming weaker and weaker.
KCR put special focus on Maharashtra by holding back-to-back meetings and a massive car rally involving hundreds of cars. But now many doubt whether the BRS is getting empty in Maharashtra with the leaders leaving the party one after one.
It is not that BRS is very strong in the state. But it had a few leaders who were working for the party. But one after the other the leaders are leaving the party making it zero. Now another leader left the party and joined the other party.
Maharashtra BRS leader Manikrao Kadam who was the farm cell head of the state joined the Ajit Pawar’s faction of NCP. Along with Kadam, a few others also joined the party. This came as a big jolt to the party which suffered back-to-back blows.
It's been some time since BRS focused on Maharashtra and the state wing of the party is not seeing any activities. Earlier the state wing had written to the party chief seeking clarity about what would happen to the party and whether the party is interested in contesting the Lok Sabha elections or not.
But it is said that there was no further communication. With this, the leaders started looking at other options. Following the same the farm cell chief had left the party. As a few noted names left the party many say that it might not take much time for the party to get closed in the state.
