All eyes are on the election results in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier this month the state went for the elections and the results will be out on the fourth of next month. Everyone is waiting for the results to see who goes to power. What makes the elections special is that AP recorded a high polling percentage.

Telugu Desam Party went to elections with BJP and Janasena as an alliance. TDP is confident of coming to power in the state. Chandrababu Naidu also announced the files which he would sign first after coming to power.

Amid this, the TDP leaders are coming up with new demands. They want Nara scion Lokesh to take over the party and lead it as the chief. They also gave the reasons behind backing Lokesh as the party chief.

Buddha Venkanna created a sensation by saying that the party leadership should be given to Nara Lokesh. He said that the leaders are not requesting but demanding that Nara Lokesh should run the party.

At a time when all eyes are on the results, he made these comments. Earlier a few reports said that Nara Lokesh might be taken into the cabinet if the alliance comes to power in the state. The same happened in 2014 and Lokesh served as the Cabinet Minister.

Chandrababu Naidu has been leading the party for a few decades and even took the party to power a few times. He even played a key role in the national politics earlier. This is his legacy as the party chief of the grand old TDP. It would be a big responsibility on Nara Lokesh’s shoulders to continue his father’s legacy.

Looking at Nara Lokesh, he went through a big image transformation. The Lokesh we are seeing now is not the same person we knew earlier. He successfully completed a Padayatra and met people across the regions. Now we have to see how the TDP responds.
