There is a lot of buzz around possible Cabinet expansion in Telangana. It is said that the Party high command gave its nod for the expansion creating a stage for this. If everything goes well we will see the expansion by next week. Along with this, we might also see a new TPCC Chief replacing Revanth Reddy.

With planning underway for the cabinet expansion, the news is doing rounds which say that two Cabinet berths were reportedly reserved for BRS MLAs who join the Congress. The situation changed after the elections. Earlier leaders from other parties joined the BRS. But the situation is going the other way around.

For the past few months, we have been seeing the BRS leaders joining the Congress. As many as five MLAs joined the Congress and a few more are expected to take the same route as per the predictions of the observers.

There are six berths that are vacant in the Cabinet. Out of six, four berths would be given to the Congress leaders while the rest would be allocated to the BRS MLAs. Once the inflow into Congress ends then the two names might be picked.

Usually, leaders join other parties hoping for some posts. To accommodate them the Congress party is said to be keeping two seats aside. It would be interesting to see who will be the lucky leaders.

If two MLAs would get the Cabinets the others would get some or the other posts. So others might be given other posts in Corporations or other bodies so that they won't feel bad.

It looks like the Congress party has a big task in front of it. One is that it should pick four leaders for the berths and pick two from the BRS MLAs who shift their loyalties to the grand old party from the car party.
