As we have been extensively reporting for the last few days, there have been multiple cases of Indian origin individuals who have been meeting with fatal endings in Canada. Now we have another shocking addition to the list.

We have the case of an Indian student who had travelled to the Canadian province guest four years ago, with the dreams of a better lifestyle and employment opportunities.

However, this sad thing here is that she was brutally stabbed to death by a 40 year old pregnant dealer and this news was communicated to the family two weeks after the incident.

Vidhi Megha was stabbed to death in broad daylight by a 40-year-old local Canadian, Joshua St Omer, who's been charged with second-degree murder. Police have already indicated robbery as the motive.

Vidhi, a 22-year-old student from Borsad in Gujarat's Anand district, was brutally stabbed to death in Canada's Niagara region.

At just 22 years old, with big dreams in her eyes, Vidhi had moved to Canada from Borsad, Gujarat, four years ago. There, she was completing her studies and also trying to stand on her own feet by working part-time.

However, she faced a fateful incident recently and is sadly no longer with us. Vidhi was stabbed repeatedly as she tried her best to defend herself, but by the time help arrived, she had already breathed her last. Canadian police have now registered a murder case.
