Can Congress Win These 14 Seats It Could Not Since 2004!

The grand old Congress party is very confident of coming to power in Telangana. The party leaders have been saying the same and making promises on the same lines. Recently the election manifesto was released with big promises like pensions and help to brides for their marriages.

When the party was confident of winning the elections and coming to power the focus went on to constituencies where the party had failed to win since 2004. There are 14 seats in which the party has been struggling to record a win. If the party wants to come to power then it should win these segments.

Chennur, Adilabad, Nirmal, Jukkal, Banswada, Sirpur, Kamareddy, Balkonda, Karimnagar, Malakpet, Kodangal, Achampet, Thungathurthy and Sathupalli are the seats the party has been struggling to win.

While various aspects resulted in Congress losing these seats, the state formation is the main reason behind the defeat. After the state was formed the Congress party started to lose ground and as a result, the party has been losing its grip.

As the Congress party failed to bank on the aspect of giving Telangana state it backfired and it started becoming weak with each passing election. But now things are looking good for the party.

Leaders are joining the party from other outfits which is seen as a positive sign for the party. Now we have to wait and see if the party can win these seats are not.
