Chandrababu Gave One Post Less Than Jagan To Them!

In the new cabinet headed by Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh three women MLAs were given a chance.

The new government had sworn in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu took oath as Chief Minister of the state while Janasena chief Pawan Kalyn took oath as the Minister. Kesarapalli hosted the massive swearing-in ceremony that saw Chandrababu, Pawan, and 23 others taking oath. The Cabinet Ministers include three women leaders.

In the new cabinet headed by Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh three women MLAs were given a chance. In the previous government led by Jagan four women Ministers were given a chance namely RK Roja, Taneti Vanitha, Vidadala Rajini, and Ushashri Charan.

In the new cabinet, three women were given a chance- Vangalapudi Anitha, Gummidi Sandhyarani, and S. Savitha.

Vangalapudi Anitha:

She won the Payakaraopeta Assembly seat in the elections. She entered politics while working as a teacher in Rayavaram of the combined Visakha district. Anitha won her first election in 2014 from the Payakaraopeta seat. In 2018 she was nominated as a TTD Board member.

Anitha contested from Kovvuru in 2019 and lost to the YCP candidate. Later she was made the Chief of TDP’s Telugu Mahila wing. In the recent elections, she won the Payakaraopeta seat with 43,727 votes. She took oath as the Minister today.

Gummidi Sandhyarani:

She won elections from the Salur seat. She was a teacher in the past. She started her career with the Congress party and contested the 1999 polls on a Congress ticket and lost. Later she joined the TDP.

She lost the 2009 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Sandhyarani was elected to the Legislative Council in 2015. In the recent elections, she won the elections with a margin of 13,733 votes.

S.Savitha:

The Penukonda MLA entered politics as the heir of S. Ramachandra Reddy who served as the Minister and MP in the past. Between 2017-19 she served as the Chairperson of the state Kuruba Finance Corporation. She runs the S.R.R. Foundation which is named after her father and does charity work.
