Coalition Govt At Centre: Chandrababu Stressing This Post?

NDA would come to power at the Centre for the third consecutive term. The BJP could not get the magic figure on its own and should take the support of allies. There will be a coalition government. While this is a shock to BJP fans it is a news to celebrate for AP.

TDP and Janasena have 18 MP seats together and they can be a deciding factor. Earlier it was reported that the INDIA alliance is trying to take Chandrababu on its side to have an edge. Amid this, Chandrababu was invited for a crucial NDA meeting. CBN is now dubbed as a kingmaker by the media.

As CBN attended the meeting it is being said that he demanded the Speaker post. Besides this, he is also said to have asked for a few portfolios in the Union Cabinet. But everyone is talking about the Speaker post.

It is said that the parties are trying to get the Lok Sabha Speaker post as the speaker will have control of the house in implementing the anti-defection law. With this CBN is said to have placed the demand before the BJP and the leadership might give a positive reaction.

The news is getting all the attention as TDP did the same last time. Between 1998 and 2002 TDP held the speaker post with it as part of the alliance. G. M. C. Balayogi served as the Lok Sabha speaker back then making him the first person from the Dalit community to take up the post.

Now the same might happen and the TDP might get the speaker post. Balayogi’s son Harish Balayogi entered the Parliament with a big win from the Amalapuram seat. As TDP is said to have demanded the post a discussion started on whether Harish would get a chance or others would be made the speaker.
