The opposition parties often target the ruling party saying that the schemes put a big burden on the economy of the state.
It is known that the ruling YSRCP is banking heavily on welfare schemes. The schemes are aimed at various sections of society. The opposition parties often target the ruling party saying that the schemes put a big burden on the economy of the state.
The elections are fast approaching in the state and the parties are busy campaigning for the polls. The opposition parties are more aggressive in their campaign activities.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has a busy schedule. He is busy campaigning in his Kuppam seat. Meeting the people there he said that they elected him seven times and asked them for another big win. On the occasion, the TDP supremo listed out all the things the party did.
But what caught everyone's attention is that Chandrababu Naidu also batted for welfare schemes and promised door delivery of the benefits.
Chandrababu Naidu said that after the alliance comes to power Rs 4,000 will be given as pension and the same amount will be sent home.
Many wonder how Chandrababu Naidu who is a vocal opposer of freebies saying that the state is going into a debt trap can openly say the schemes will be implemented. Moreover, he is saying more than the existing amount would be given.
In Chandrababu Naidu’s words, Rs 4000 will be given as a pension to the beneficiaries and the amount will be sent to the beneficiaries' houses.
If the amount has to be sent home then there should be a system like Volunteers as government employees will be occupied with their usual work. TDP boss is also critical of the Volunteer system and it is impossible to implement what he said without a proper plan.
